Originally started in 2018 as Martinet, and renamed to Project 47 in 2019, this site was a key tool in me gaining experience in web development and self-hosting. In February 2023, much of the site was migrated to Josh47 (I would’ve stuck with Project 47 but the domain was taken for the .com, .org, and .net TLDs. So was marti.net) and Project 47 was abandoned, but still left operational on a TalesAndTips.com subdomain.
Now, more than two years after its abandonment, Project 47 is formally going End Of Life. In the coming weeks, portions of it will cease functioning and by May 31st, no portion if it will be served on the web, though I’ll still keep an archival copy of most of it for old-time’s sake.
Where can I go to continue accessing Project 47 resources?
- Ham Radio information is available at Josh47.com/ham and is more complete than that on Project 47
- Drone / Aerial Imaging is still available upon request by emailing pilotjoshmartinez (at) Gmail (dot) com
- The Media Access System has been discontinued, but all images are archived. To request an image, email webmaster (at) josh47 (dot) com. There is a planned future project to build a gallery which will offer many of the images from the Media Access System, but that may still be years out, as most of this is just a hobby project for me.
- The Music Center has been discontinued. If there’s sufficient demand, portions of it may become available on Josh47.com
- Information about Techiecraft and Supercraft is now available at Josh47.com/minecraft
- Pretty much everything else was migrated to Josh47.com in 2022. If you’re looking for something in particular, let me know and I’ll help you find it.
